Author Guidelines
- About the Journal
The International Journal of Intelligent Technologies and Systems (IJITS) is a peer-reviewed, hybrid-access journal committed to publishing innovative research in the domains of intelligent computing, emerging technologies, and interdisciplinary systems. IJITS encourages contributions that demonstrate originality, technical excellence, and practical relevance to the evolving landscape of smart technologies.
- Scope of Submission
IJITS accepts submissions across a broad range of disciplines, including but not limited to:
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Internet of Things (IoT) and Edge Computing
- Cybersecurity and Privacy-Preserving Technologies
- Robotics and Autonomous Systems
- Cloud Computing and Big Data Analytics
- Computer Vision and Image Processing
- Bioinformatics and Computational Healthcare
- Smart Energy and Sustainable Systems
- Educational Technologies and Adaptive Learning
- Blockchain, AR/VR, and Quantum Systems
- Types of Manuscripts Accepted
- Original Research Articles (3,000–6,000 words)
Full-length manuscripts reporting significant and novel research contributions. - Short Communications / Research Letters (up to 2,000 words)
Brief reports on impactful findings or work-in-progress. - Review / Mini Review Articles (3,000–7,000 words)
Comprehensive or focused overviews of recent advancements in a given area. - Case Studies
Real-world implementations, experimental validations, or applied frameworks. - Editorials / Commentaries
Expert perspectives on current trends, challenges, or breakthroughs.
- Manuscript Preparation
Structure
Each submission should include the following components:
- Title Page
- Title of the manuscript
- Names and affiliations of all authors
- Email of corresponding author
- Abstract (150–250 words)
A concise summary highlighting objectives, methodology, results, and impact. - Keywords (4–6 terms)
Relevant keywords for indexing and discoverability. - Main Sections (as applicable)
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods / Methodology
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgements
- References
Formatting Guidelines
- Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt
- Line Spacing: 1.0
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides
- File Formats: .docx (MS Word) or .tex with compiled PDF
- Figures & Tables: Embedded in-text, numbered, with descriptive captions
- Citation and Referencing Style
IJITS accepts either of the following styles. Authors must be consistent throughout:
- APA 7th Edition
Example: Sharma, P. (2024). Deep learning in IoT systems. Journal of Smart Tech, 5(2), 101–115. - IEEE Format
Example: [1] P. Sharma, “Deep learning in IoT systems,” J. Smart Tech, vol. 5, no. 2, pp. 101–115, 2024.

- Peer Review Policy
All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review. Authors should ensure that submitted files are anonymized and free from identifiable metadata.
- Publication Ethics and Plagiarism
IJITS adheres to the COPE guidelines for publication ethics. All submissions are screened using Turnitin/iThenticate.
- Maximum acceptable similarity index: <10%
- Instances of plagiarism, data fabrication, or unethical conduct will lead to immediate rejection and blacklisting.
- Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright. Published articles will be licensed under:

This allows unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction with proper credit.
- Article Processing Charges (APC)
🚫 No APC is currently levied for submission or publication.
